女川町にて石投山を含む山林で鹿の有害駆除が実施される日は、トレイル入り口に係員が待機し入山ができなくなります。
雄勝峠から女川の登山口までの区間が歩けませんので、迂回してください。
国道398号は、カーブが多く狭い道のため、見通しの悪い場所が多数あります。車両だけではなくバイク、自転車も通行します。また薄暮の時間帯には鹿が「上から降ってくる」と言われるほどたくさん出現します。十分お気をつけてください。途中、商店等はございません。
鹿の駆除が実施されるのは主に水曜日、土曜日、日曜日です。情報が入った時には、m.s.s.booksのインスタグラム等でお知らせします。

On the days when Onagawa Town implements deer control in the mountain forests including Mt.Ishinage, attendants will be waiting at the trail entrance and no one will be allowed to enter the mountain.
The section from the Ogatsu Pass to the trailhead in Onagawa will not be accessible, so please make a detour.
Route 398 is a narrow road with many curves, and there are numerous places where visibility is poor. Not only vehicles but also motorcycles and bicycles pass through. Also, many deer can be seen at dusk. Please be careful. There are no stores along the way.
Deer hunting is mainly conducted on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. As information becomes available, we will announce it on m.s.s.books’ Instagram, etc.

雄勝町の大原川橋を渡って冬季迂回路方面に進み、波板集落に降りずそのまま国道398号を女川町方面に進みます。
Cross the Ohara river Bridge in the town of Ogatsu in the direction of the winter detour route, and continue on Route 398 toward Onagawa Town without descending into Namiita Village.

女川駅前プロムナードから国道398号に出て、雄勝町方面に進みます。石巻市境を越えると波板集落入口でトレイル冬季迂回路と合流します。
From the Onagawa promenade in front of JR Onagawa Station, exit onto Route 398 and continue toward Ogatsu Town. Cross the Ishinomaki City border and merge with the trail winter detour at the entrance to Namiita village.
※山越えの近道もありますが、途中に民家が全くないので推奨はしません。
There is the alternative route over the mountains. I do not recommend it because there are no houses at all along the way.
